Black Friday

Yesterday I thought about a little shopping this morning, but decided that it would probably end with me spending much more money than I should, especially on things I won't need. Instead Lilly and I are hanging out, reading books, coloring, practicing to not open the fridge every ten minutes just because she likes to look at the food - the last thing we need is another family member with that habit :) On top of these little battles she is getting four new teeth at the same time - fun.
We'll go outside in a few minutes to play and rake leaves. Right now the sun is out so at least it hopefully won't be too cold.
We had a very nice Thanksgiving with Shaun's parents. The food was great and plentyful. We watched the Walton's Homecoming and a Thanksgiving episode - a little tradition. Lilly likes the Waltons as well, we guess its the abundance of children and animals on the show.
Heute ist der groesste Einkaufstag der Jahres in den Staaten. Gestern hab' ich fuer ein Weilchen vorgehabt einkaufen zu gehen, aber ich glaube es ist besser fuer meine Geldboerse und meine Nerven wenn ich zu Hause bleibe. Anstatt dessen spielen Lilly und ich, lesen jede Menge Buecher, malen, und ueben nicht alle paar Minuten den Kuehlschrank aufzumachen weil Lilly gerne schaut was drinnen ist. Das letzte das wir brauchen ist noch ein Familienmitglied das die Finger nicht vom Kuehlschrank lassen kann. :) Als ob das nicht genug Grund zum Heulen waere, Lilly bekommt auch noch vier neue Zaehne auf einmal - Spass. Wir werden jetzt rausgehen solange die Sonne noch scheint und ein bisschen frische Luft schnappen.
Wir hatten gestern ein schoenes Thanksgiving mit Shaun's Eltern. Das Essen war echt super. Danach haben wir nach Familientradition die Waltons angeschaut. Lilly mag die Sendung auch, wahrscheinlich weil es viele Kinder und Tiere gibt.
