Endlich - schoenes Wetter fuer mehr als nur ein paar Stunden und ich muss noch nicht mal arbeiten! Ich lieb' L's Overalls - mein kleines Landmaedchen! Natuerlich braucht sie da auch einen Hirtenhund.
We enjoyed the nice weather, going for a walk, playing outside with the dog, and practicing walking. I am proud to say that the little one is doing a great job! She learned just in the past couple of days to stand on her own - if only for a little bit, but still. She also took on Friday her first real steps without holding on. She's takes two steps, and then gets so excited that she launches herself in my or Papa's arms. Then she starts kreeching really loud to show how proud she is of herself. Pretty soon she'll be running all over the house. Her Papa is looking forward to that - or at least he says so. (I think he isn't aware of how much more work it'll be for him to take care of her when she contantly wants to walk herself whereever he'll take her.)
Wir geniessen das schoene Wetter, gehen spazieren, spielen draussen mit dem Hund, und ueben fleissig das Gehen. Unsere Maus ist sehr brav dabei! In den letzten paar Tagen hat sie gelernt alleine zu Stehen, ohne sich anzuhalten, und ohne Hilfe ein paar Schritte zu machen. Nach gut zwei Schritten freut sie sich so sehr dass sie sich in Mama's oder Papa's Arme schmeisst. Dann ist sie stolz auf sich selber dass sie ganz gluecklich quietscht. Lang wird's nicht mehr dauern und sie wird im ganzen Haus rumlaufen. Der Papa kann's kaum abwarten bis es so weit ist. (Ich glaube er hat keine Ahnung auf was er sich da einlaesst.)
